I intend to expand on this, but here is the general idea for now:
"clusterf*ck" zine. call it cluster for broader marketability.
unfocused art magazine. featured diy projects, photography contests, baking recipes, music, game, and product reviews, et cetera. make this very "user friendly" with lots of contests, submissions from diverse sources, and several collaborators. i have outlined preliminary ideas in a notebook, and i will add them soon.

CLUSTER.
Include in every edition:
- photography contest
- contest for drawing the next editions title for cover (requirements being appropriate dimensions & that the art features the word cluster)
- game review
- feature article on something randomly selected
- music review
- comic strip section
- "mini language lesson"
- short story section
- feature DIY project instructions/images
- feature punch-out project (mobiles, those post cards you can construct, or weird paper dolls, etc)
target market:
16+ (preferably older), indie artists and crafters, smart people, people who like awesome fun things. (lol.)
mission statement: (of sorts)
emphasize the point of "couldn't choose a single zine them, and why should we have to?"
"something for everyone" art/recreation mag.
for the first printing of it, make it extremely simple and cheap. send it to friends and acquantances to hand out, as like a limited edition. introductory free awesome thing. if people like them, have a site of some kind where people can 'subscribe'. perhaps contact random craig's list people and send them to random cities like portland and seattle.

Preferably one that is overtly spooky/grunge/industrial or, alternately, insanely kawaii cute.

Get a really cool looking bicycle for casual city riding.
Bonus points for getting a folding mountain bike, too.
